Saturday, 8/23/25:Arrive in Florence.Enjoy the afternoon settling in and exploring the villa grounds.Evening: Casual dinner<a href="https://www.ribalta.eu/home/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"> Ribalta Restorante &amp; Pizzeria</a>. Sunday, 8/24/25:Sunday morning, we will visit the <a href="https://www.chianti.com/what-to-do-in-chianti/markets-in-chianti.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">open-air market</a> in Panzano, located in Piazza Bucciarelli. It offers fresh produce, artisanal products, and a variety of handmade crafts. A highlight of the market is the renowned butcher, Dario Cecchini, whose family has been serving up high-quality meats for generations.After lunch we will come back to the Villa and spend the day relaxing by the pool. Tuesday, 8/26/25:Full day in Florence with a private tour guide.Visit the <a href="https://www.uffizi.it/en/tickets" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Uffizi Gallery</a>, the <a href="https://tickets.duomo.firenze.it/en/store#/en/support/prices" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Duomo</a> and <a href="https://www.galleriaaccademiafirenze.it/en/tickets/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Accademia Gallery</a> (entrance fees not included and will need to be paid by July 1st). Save the Date!

Sarah and Ben’s story began in the summer of 2022. At the time, Sarah was living on Mud Island, while Ben, preparing for his final year of law school, was living downtown. They met at a post-wedding party, and from their very first conversation, they were completely captivated by each other. Their connection grew quickly, and they started dating soon after. Over the years, they’ve shared countless memorable moments, from golfing and snow skiing to cozy nights cooking together or fun evenings out with friends. Both passionate travelers, they’ve explored new places together, all while continuing to bring out the best in one another. Even though Sarah is a UT Vol for life and Ben is an Ole Miss alumnus with a deep love for the Rebels, they share a passion for SEC football and cheer for each other's teams—just as long as they’re not playing against each other. On June 15, 2024, after nearly two years of shared adventures, Ben asked Sarah to marry him at sunset on the banks of the Mississippi River. It was a perfect reflection of their journey: spontaneous, full of heart, and set against the backdrop of a place that holds so much meaning for them both.

Megan, Morgan, and I became sisters in more ways than one when we pledged the same sorority at the University of Tennessee. We were roommates for our junior and senior years, and ever since, they have been my best friends through every stage of life. Megan now lives in Atlanta with her wonderful husband and beautiful daughter, and she’s currently finishing up her degree to become a nurse practitioner. Morgan and her husband are living in North Carolina while she is doing her Obgyn residency at Wake Forest. I couldn’t imagine this day without both of them by my side!

Hannah and I have been friends since middle school, and she has always been one of the sweetest and kindest people I know. After high school, we lost touch for a bit, but we reconnected after I started dating Ben. I met his friend Hayes and instantly knew he and Hannah would hit it off—so I set them up! Now, she’s not only an incredible elementary school teacher but also one of my dearest friends, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side on this special day!

I met Amy when I moved to Mud Island, and we clicked right away. Her fiancé was in med school with Morgan, and from the moment we met, she made me feel like I had known her forever. She instantly became one of my best friends! Even while planning her own wedding, she was sweet enough to agree to be in my wedding. I am so blessed to have such a selfless and wonderful friend!

The Villa is approximately 30 minutes outside of Florence. Via Empolese 172 50026 San Casciano in Val di Pesa FI Italy

All of the choices below are in the countryside outside of Florence. They would require a car rental for transportation. If you are staying in Florence, you can opt for a hotel or a vacation rental. On the day of the wedding, we would have a shuttle available to bring guests to the Wedding Villa.
